The Image Reading Center has become
one of the leading Body Composition Analysis Centers in
the world. We currently analyze DXA, CT, and MRI Scans,
both single/multiple slice and whole body protocols. Having
completed numerous national and international multi-center
clinical trials, we have developed standardized analysis
protocols to provide for rapid and consistent analyses.
Our technical experience has allowed us to refine our acquisition,
training, and analysis techniques, while our work with various
primary investigators has allowed us to tailor our analyses
in order to provide improved anatomic and body composition
data while maintaining consistent scientific integrity.
Our current advancements are focused on the areas of liver
fat, brain and organ volumes, identification of specific
depots within subcutaneous and visceral adipose tissue,
intra- and inter-muscular adipose tissue, and cardiac function
parameters. We have continued to disseminate our discoveries
and knowledge through academic publications and organized
training sessions. |
